What are the current status,functions and preventive measures of dust removal by bag dust collectors?

The structure of bag dust collectors is that the air inlet flue is arranged in the middle of the dust collector,and two air inlet branches are set in each bag chamber in the middle flue.The flue gas enters the bag chamber along the branch pipes.Each dust collector is divided into three bag chambers along the air flow direction,and a total of 6 branch pipes are set.The original bag dust collector was not equipped with a guide device,which made the airflow entering each chamber unevenly distributed and the filter bags in each chamber unevenly damaged.Taking advantage of the overhaul of the dust collector,ANSYSFLUENT software was used to simulate and calculate the guide plates of different specifications set in the air inlet flue of the bag dust collector,and the optimal layout was selected to make the airflow entering each bag chamber evenly distributed,and the dust removal efficiency,pressure loss and other performances of the dust collector were all optimized.

Bag dust collector is a kind of dry and filtering dust removal device,which is a dust removal equipment that uses fibrous filter bags to capture dust.The materials of the filter bag mainly include fiber,chemical synthetic fiber,glass fiber,metal fiber and other materials.These materials are used to make cloth nets,which are then sewn into cloth bags and filter bags of various shapes to separate and filter dust particles.Bag dust collectors are suitable for capturing some fine,dry,non-fibrous dust.They mainly rely on filter cloth as filter material.When dust and particles in the air pass through the filter bag,the dust and particles will be blocked on the outside of the filter,and the dry air will be discharged through the gaps of the filter,thereby achieving the purpose of dust removal.

The current situation and role of dust removal by bag dust collectors

This has higher standard requirements for the variety,performance,application range,and even the use effect of bag dust collectors.Compared with other developed regions,these are very close,but there are still problems.

There are the following points about the role of bag dust collectors.One is the screening effect.When dust passes through the filter cloth,the filter will block out dust larger than the gap diameter.This is the screening effect of the dust collector.However,the new filter is relatively clean and has larger gaps,so the effect will be slightly poor.After using it for a period of time,some dust layers will remain on the surface of the filter,and the screening effect will be more obvious.

The second is the inertial effect.When the dust-carrying gas passes through the filter,the moderately sized dust will still maintain linear motion and rush to the fiber to be captured due to inertia.For example,just like driving on the road,experienced drivers will warn novices to stay away from large and fast trucks and buses on the road.The larger the volume,the greater the inertial effect,and the faster the speed,the greater the inertial effect.Therefore,large dust will break through the weak filter due to inertia under the airflow,so that the dust removal effect will also be worse.

The third is the diffusion effect.When the dust is small,it will produce Brownian motion to increase the contact area between the dust and the filter.This diffusion is different from inertia.Taking glass fiber as an example,as the speed of the filtered gas decreases,the diameter will increase.In other words,the finer the fiber,the higher the dust removal efficiency,but the pressure at the thinner fiber diameter will increase,and it will decrease over time.

The fourth is the electrostatic effect.The collision between dust will generate static electricity.In the case of an insulator filter,the dust will be adsorbed on the filter when the electricity is opposite,which improves the dust removal efficiency.However,since the charges are the same,like charges repel each other,and the dust cannot be adsorbed on the filter,and the dust removal efficiency will be reduced.
