Wet electrostatic mist collector

There are two basic structural types of wet electrostatic precipitators:tube type and plate type.The dust collecting pole of the tube type electrostatic precipitator is a number of parallel circular or polygonal metal tubes，and the discharge electrodes are evenly distributed between the plates.The tubular wet electrostatic precipitator can only be used to treat vertically flowing flue gas.The dust collecting pole of the plate type electrostatic precipitator is flat，which can obtain good water film formation characteristics.The corona wires are evenly distributed between the plates.The plate type wet electrostatic precipitator can be used to treat horizontal or vertical flue gas.

At the same dust collection area，the flue gas flow rate in the tube type electrostatic precipitator can be twice that of the plate type dust collector.Therefore，when the same dust removal efficiency is achieved，the floor space of the tube type dust collector is much smaller than that of the plate type dust collector.The wet electrostatic precipitator uses water spraying or overflow water to form a layer of water film on the surface of the dust collecting pole to achieve plate cleaning.Wet cleaning can avoid the re-flying of the settled dust and achieve a very high dust removal efficiency.Because there is no vibration device，the operation is relatively stable，but there are problems with corrosion，sludge and sewage treatment.The application is not as extensive as the dry electrostatic precipitator.

Electrostatic precipitator，a dust collector that uses electrostatic force(Coulomb force)to separate particles from airflow.There are plate type and tube type，horizontal flow type and vertical flow type，dry type and wet type.When working，there are three main steps:charging of suspended particles，capture of charged particles in the electric field，and removal of particles captured on the dust collecting plate.Its characteristics are small airflow resistance，ability to handle high-temperature gas，dust removal efficiency of up to 99-90%，not affected by the moisture contained in the dust particles，suitable for handling gases with low dust concentration and dust particle size of 0.05-50μm，but the investment and maintenance costs are high，and the floor area is large.The electrical properties of many particles have an impact on the dust removal efficiency.It is mainly used in occasions where large amounts of flue gas are treated.
