The wet electrostatic precipitator of the sintering machine is mainly composed of a corona wire(cathode),a precipitation electrode(anode),an insulating box and a high-voltage DC power supply.
Technical principle of wet electrostatic precipitator of sintering machine
The working principle of the wet electrostatic precipitator of the sintering machine is basically the same as that of the dry precipitator,but due to the nature of the working medium of the wet electrostatic precipitator-containing droplets,the working principle of the wet electrostatic precipitator is different from that of the dry electrostatic precipitator.After the WESP is connected to the high-voltage DC power supply,a non-uniform high-voltage electrostatic field is formed between the discharge electrode and the precipitation electrode.Under the action of the electric field,the corona discharge occurs in the corona wire,and when the flue gas enters the charged area ofthe electric field,the acid mist,smoke and other particles are charged.After the acid mist,smoke and other particles are charged,the electrostatic condensation effect is enhanced,the particle size increases,the charge increases,and they reach the anode(precipitation electrode)under the action of the electric field force.A large number of acid mist particles are continuously driven to the anode,and the charge is released at the same time,so as to achieve the purpose of separating aerosol particles such as acid mist and smoke from the flue gas.
For the wet electrostatic precipitator of the sintering machine:
First,the presence of water droplets affects the electrode discharge.When the metal surface is hydrated,the surface barrier weakens the barrier to free electrons,making it easier for electrons to be emitted.In the environment of saturated wet flue gas,the electrode discharge effect is changed,so that the electrode can produce corona discharge at low voltage.
Secondly,due to the presence of water droplets,the resistance of water is relatively small.After the water droplets combine with the dust,the high resistivity dust resistivity decreases,and the working state of the wet electrostatic precipitator will be more stable;in addition,since the wet electrostatic precipitator uses water flow flushing and has no vibration device,it will not generate secondary dust;the wet electrostatic precipitator has a good removal effect on acid mist,toxic heavy metals,PM10,and especially PM2.5 fine dust.
