Steel Plant Dust Collector

The layout of the steel plant dust collector pipeline is similar to that of the steel plant dust collector pipeline and cement plant dust collector pipeline.It mainly follows the following principles:no impact on process production,easy installation and maintenance,reduce dust collection pipe network resistance,save investment for users,and the dust collector pipeline should be considered in a unified manner with the production equipment to make the process flow reasonable.

(1)The layout of the steel plant dust collector pipeline should be coordinated with the structure of the plant,occupy less space,not hinder operation and facilitate installation and maintenance.

(2)The dust collection points of the steel plant dust collector dust collection system should not be too many.Generally,there are no more than 5 dust collection points in a system.When the distance between the dust collection points of the dust collector is not large or the resistance between the parallel branches can still be balanced,the number of dust collection points of the dust collector can be appropriately increased,but it should not exceed 10.For dust collection systems with many dust collection points,large-section manifolds can be used to connect the dust collector branches to facilitate the resistance balance between the branches.

(3)To prevent dust from being deposited in the steel plant dust collector pipeline,the dust collecting pipeline of the dust collector should be arranged horizontally as far as possible,especially the pipeline for conveying coal powder.The angle between the dust collector pipeline and the horizontal plane should not be less than 55°.Steel plant dust collectors can also be arranged horizontally for pipelines with dust concentration less than 5g/m3 and no explosion hazard,and when the flow rate in the pipeline is greater than 18m/s.Due to various reasons of steel plant dust collectors,when the pipeline is to be arranged horizontally,the length of the horizontal pipeline should be shortened as far as possible,and cleaning holes or compressed air pipe joints should be set near the pipe fittings such as elbows and tees of the dust collector pipeline for regular cleaning.Branch pipes should be connected from the top or side of the main pipe.

(4)In order to adjust the air volume and detection needs of steel plant dust collectors,measuring holes should be reserved on the dust hood outlet connecting pipe and the inlet and outlet pipes of the dust collector and fan.The measuring holes should be set on the straight pipe section with stable airflow,as far away as possible from elbows,tees and other special-shaped pipe fittings to reduce the influence of eddy currents on the measurement results.The measuring hole should not be opened above the dust collector air duct to avoid affecting the measurement results.The dust collection system of the bag dust collector in large steel plants can be equipped with instruments for online measurement of air volume,air pressure,CO content analysis and temperature parameters according to specific conditions.

(5)For dust collection systems of steel plants with many dust suction points,manual plug valves or ventilation butterfly valves and other devices for adjusting air volume should be installed on each branch pipe.The valve should be installed in a position that is easy to operate and not easy to collect dust.

(6)Under normal circumstances,the exhaust duct of the dust collector system of the aluminum plant should be 0.5-1.5m higher than the roof.If the exhaust duct will affect the surrounding buildings,it should be appropriately raised according to the specific situation.Generally,the outlet of the open-air vertical exhaust duct should be equipped with a rain cap to prevent rainwater from entering the pipe.When the jet can be used and the discharged polluted gas can be released at a higher position,the top can be without a rain cap.

(7)When the steel plant bag filter pipe is installed horizontally,the spacing of its fixings(clamps,hangers,brackets,etc.)should generally be determined according to the diameter of the dust collector pipe.When the dust collector pipe is installed vertically,the spacing of the fixings shall not be less than 4m.Pull ropes and hangers are not allowed to be directly fixed on the flange of the pipe.

(8)In the process layout of the steel plant workshop,the production equipment and dust collector pipes should be considered in a unified manner,and a holistic concept should be maintained.It is forbidden to arrange the equipment first and then connect the dust collector pipes.

(9)In the general layout of the steel plant,in addition to considering the reasonable process flow,easy maintenance,and crossing the road as little as possible,the relationship between the workshops should also be made short and the workshops should be as compact as possible.This can not only save the materials used for the air duct,but also reduce the air flow resistance and power consumption.Since the aluminum plant workshops are close to each other,it can also save raw materials such as cables and water pipes and reduce factory investment.
