Flame cutting is the main method for large-scale scrap steel processing by scrap steel processing enterprises.During the cutting process,iron and its impurities are oxidized to produce a large amount of smoke.The main components of the smoke are Fe2O3,FeO,MnO2,SiO2,etc.,which have a certain impact on the surrounding environment and are not conducive to the health of employees.It is necessary to install a dust collector in the scrap steel cutting workshop to treat it.
The key to the dust collector in the scrap steel cutting workshop is the design of the smoke collection hood(dust hood).The smoke collection hood must not only meet the needs of cutting processing,but also minimize the exhaust volume of the system.
Design and treatment plan of the dust collector collection hood in the scrap steel cutting workshop:
1.The scrap steel cutting processing of the factory is an open-air operation,and the smoke collection hood must meet the requirements of personnel cutting operations and smoke collection.According to production requirements,the smoke collection hood should be able to meet the requirements of 4 people for cutting operations at the same time,and a bridge crane should be used for material laying and collection during the cutting process.Therefore,the design of the smoke collection hood considers the use of a mobile smoke collection hood.The scrap steel cutting operation is carried out under the smoke collection hood,and the generated smoke is captured by the smoke collection hood.When the crane is laying and collecting materials,the smoke collection hood can move forward and backward.
Aiming at the smoke pollution problem caused by iron block cutting and meeting the requirements of iron block cutting process,the design adopts the traditional bag dust removal method.The dust removal process is:mobile collection hood-belt sealing duct-dust removal main duct-bag dust collector-fan-chimney,and the process is simple.The difficulty of the project design lies mainly in the design and control of the movable smoke hood.
2.According to the on-site operating conditions and the size of the cutting and processing object,the size of the smoke collection hood is determined to be 10m×5m×5m.In order to reduce the exhaust volume of the system,the smoke collection hood adopts a hood type,with three sides closed and one side left for cutting operation.An electric lifting curtain is set on the opening surface.During the cutting operation,the curtain can be lowered to a position 1.6m above the ground to prevent the smoke generated by cutting from escaping.In order to maintain uniform wind speed at the hood,three rectangular exhaust vents are arranged in a straight line on the top of the hood.
In view of the characteristics of converter flue gas and the actual situation on site,under the premise of meeting the home exhaust gas emission standards,we propose to use a one-to-one equipment for iron block cutting flue gas treatment:LCM series offline pulse bag dust collector for treatment.The process flow is:iron block cutting workshop enclosure type capture hood-flue gas main-bag dust collector-dust removal fan-exhaust.
The two sets of dust collector treatment solutions for scrap iron block cutting workshop are mainly selected and designed for the actual working conditions on site.After installation and use,the dust removal efficiency is≥90%,and the emission concentration is≤10mg/Nm3,which meets the new environmental protection emission requirements.
