B8 wire

B8 wire is the main component of the cathode system of the electrostatic precipitator. It has good volt-ampere characteristics, strong adaptability to changes in dust specific resistance, and a cut-off voltage of more than 20,000 volts higher than that of dust collectors using other corona wires.

B8 wire can be installed in various horizontal or vertical electrostatic precipitators. The thorn wire (cathode is also called discharge electrode or corona electrode) forms a non-uniform electric field with the anode to generate corona current. It consists of cathode wire, cathode frame and cathode hanging device.
