RCO catalytic combustion equipment is a commonly used tail gas treatment method in industrial production.How to make this method effective and treat the exhaust gas in the same time to obtain greater benefits is what every manufacturer wants to know,which requires choosing a suitable equipment.

1.To make the airflow and temperature distribution through the catalyst surface uniform and the flame not directly contact the catalyst surface,the combustion chamber needs to have sufficient length and space.The catalytic combustion device should have a good thermal insulation effect.The furnace body is generally lined with refractory materials in a steel structure shell,or a double-layer sandwich wall structure.

2.It should generally be designed as a mold drawer structure that is easy to load and unload,so as to facilitate cleaning and replacement of catalyst carriers.

3.Catalytic combustion generally uses gas as auxiliary fuel,and fuel oil,electric heating,etc.can also be used as auxiliary fuel.Purified gas is generally used for combustion support.If the purified gas cannot be used as combustion support,air should be introduced for combustion support.

4.Since catalytic combustion is an irreversible exothermic reaction,no matter what stage the reaction is carried out,it should be carried out at the highest possible temperature to obtain a higher conversion rate.However,the operating temperature is often limited by certain conditions,such as the heat resistance temperature of the catalyst,the acquisition of high-temperature materials,the supply of heat energy,and whether there are side reactions.Therefore,in actual production,it should be appropriately selected according to the actual situation.

In the process of treating exhaust gas,catalytic combustion needs to control the higher temperature to make the temperature distribution uniform,and improve the equipment structure to make it heat-insulating and add materials.

The catalytic combustion equipment sets the desorption time according to the different exhaust gas content and the different working hours every day.Generally,desorption is carried out for 7-15 days.The desorption time is 3-5 hours.The desorption time of the catalytic combustion equipment is mainly determined by the filling amount of activated carbon and the iodine value of activated carbon.The filling amount of activated carbon is high and the iodine value is high,and the desorption time interval of the catalytic combustion equipment is relatively long.If the iodine value of activated carbon selected by the catalytic combustion equipment is low,and the filling amount of activated carbon in the equipment is small,the catalytic combustion equipment is easy to reach saturation.Such catalytic combustion equipment generally desorbs once every 3-5 days,which is a great waste of electricity.The cost of use is increased,and the service life of activated carbon is short.Good activated carbon is generally replaced every 2-3 years.The activated carbon in catalytic combustion equipment that needs to be desorbed frequently basically needs to be replaced once a year.
