RCO catalytic combustion equipment is mainly composed of a catalytic combustion bed(consisting of an electric heating chamber,a catalytic chamber and a heat exchanger),a flame arrester,a temperature detector and corresponding electric valves,and an insulation pipe.The main function is to use the electric heater in the catalytic combustion bed to heat the exhaust gas generated by the production line,so that the useful exhaust gas is converted into CO2 and H2O at about 280-300°C under the effect of the catalyst and releases a lot of heat.The heat is reused through the heat exchanger.
RCO catalytic combustion equipment general process flow
1.Preheating:Preheating is the most basic process form of catalytic combustion.The useful exhaust gas temperature is below 100°C,the concentration is also low,and the heat cannot be self-sufficient.Therefore,it needs to be heated in the preheating chamber before entering the reactor.After combustion and purification,the gas is heat exchanged with the untreated exhaust gas in the heat exchanger to recover part of the heat.This process usually uses gas or electric heating to heat up to the ignition temperature required for the catalytic reaction.
2.Self-heat balance type:When the useful waste gas is discharged at a high temperature(about 300°C),higher than the ignition temperature,and the useful content is high,the heat exchanger recovers part of the heat generated by the purified gas,and can maintain heat balance under normal operation without adding heat.Usually,only an electric heater is required in the catalytic combustion reactor for ignition.
3.Adsorption-catalytic combustion:When the useful waste gas has a large flow rate,low concentration,and low temperature,and catalytic combustion requires a large amount of fuel,the useful waste gas can be adsorbed on the adsorbent by adsorption means for concentration,and then purged with hot air to desorb the useful waste gas into a concentrated useful waste gas(which can be concentrated more than 10 times),and then catalytic combustion is carried out.At this time,no additional heat source is required to maintain normal operation.
4.The selection of the catalytic combustion process for useful waste gas mainly depends on:the heat release of the combustion process,that is,the type and concentration of combustibles in the waste gas;the ignition temperature,that is,the properties of the useful components and the activity of the catalyst;the heat recovery rate,etc.When the recovered heat exceeds the heat required for preheating,it can achieve self-heat balance operation without external heat source,which is economical.
The catalytic combustion equipment consists of PLC controller,text display,frequency converter,igniter,ultraviolet sensor,thermocouple and other electronic control equipment and fan,and the ratio of gas to air is adjusted by zero pressure valve.The working process of catalytic combustion electrical control system is divided into three states:burner working state,stop state and parameter setting state.
